Tandalao Franks was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, currently residing in Leesburg, Virginia, previously living in Richmond, Va., and Chicago, Il. respectively. She is Owner and Lead Designer of Tandalao Events LLC, a Wedding and Events Enterprise. She has more than 30 years’ experience as a Flight Attendant spending the last 20 years as an International Purser for United Airline. She was Founder of Y-ME Group, an organization which facilitated and organized one on one mentoring, tutoring and job preparation as well as a host of other life enhancement skills for underprivileged young men.
Her career as a Flight Attendant has given her the opportunity to travel the world and experience a variety of cultures. World travel has enhanced her creativity as an Event Designer and garnered broader perspective in bringing new and fresh resolutions to intercity challenges.
Her love of, and passion for spending her free time mentoring and sharing life’s valuable lessons through her work, community, and church volunteer opportunities has added to her personal and professional development.
