The many challenges facing our at-risk boys cannot be overcome without your support.

Thank you for your commitment to becoming a Sustaining Parent. Your ongoing commitment will be used to give them a second chance. GateWay Second Chance Foundation and the GateWay Boarding Academy (GBA) are making difference through the programs we provide to our community. The programs are designed to provide academically struggling middle and high-school aged adolescent boys a second chance to get the academic and problem-solving skills they must have for any real chance at a productive future. Subject areas taught are evidence based READ180, which improves comprehension, academic vocabulary and writing skills. MATH180, the companion to READ180, strengthens mathematical reasoning and reinforces understanding of math concepts and problem-solving steps. In class academic studies are supplemented by the Earn & Learn pre-apprentice program which motivates students to learn and master the academic skills they are being taught in a work environment, and the Young Men’s Summer Adventure Camp which reinforces core values such as accountability. endurance, and Temperence.

All of these programs are provided at no cost to the student families and are only made possible because of you and other generous donors like you.
